Aloha,
As you know, living here in the Islands, we have a rich diversity of cultures, beliefs and superstitions. Occasionally, one is faced with a situation or event that defies our normal senses, logic, and reasoning. The first reaction would be to turn to our religious beliefs and superstitions for answers. Unfortunatly some people have no where to turn to. The majority of these people don’t want to share their experiences because of the fear that others would view them as crazy or psychologically disturbed. Some fear being shunned by people in their own religious communities. That’s were we come in…
We are Hawaiian Island Ghost Hunters. We're local people, born and raised here in the Islands with an interest in Paranormal Research. Our main goal is to gather information and evidence in a friendly and professional manner in an effort to help those who are searching for answers. We will investigate residential dwellings or commercial buildings with our collection of experience and equipment. We will debunk such claims as noises, apparitions, eerie feeling, etc. by finding logical explanations for these events. Only if all logical explanations are exhausted will we find reason to claim that a place has paranormal activity or is haunted. Such claims will only come from the Lead Investigators after extensive research and review of evidence collected.
Please keep in mind that we are not Scientists, Priest, or Kahuna. We are normal people with families and jobs. What sets us apart is our passion to pursue answers regarding the paranormal. Our investigations are free of charge, but we do accept donations which will go towards the purchase and up keep of equipment, technology, and resources that we normally pay out of pocket. The opportunity to meet new people, investigate their homes, businesses, and help them find answers to hopefully put them at ease is what makes it all worth while. We will not falsify any of our findings or evidence. We will provide you with only the truth regardless if it is favorable or unfavorable. Our investigations will be carried out with the utmost respect to people (living and non-living), property, nature, and the law. We understand the need for confidentiality and will not publish or make reference to any names, addresses, or information without the consent of our clients. Our findings will only be published and referenced using generic names and information to provide anonymity. Lastly, due to our love and respect for our heritage, land (aina), and ancestors, we will not "intentionally" and/or knowingly pursue investigations on sacred lands (heiau, etc.), cemeteries, and will not seek out legends such as night marchers. With that said…if you need help regarding the paranormal or a haunting, please contact Hawaiian Island Ghost Hunters.
