Paranormal Investigations & Research

Specializing in the Field of Haunting Investigation and Research

If you need help proving or disproving a haunting, and want a friendly, reliable, and professional investigation to be carried out in your home or place of work, contact us.  The Hawaiian Island Paranormal Research Society will investigate with our collection of equipment and experience at no charge.  We will only provide you with evidence that we can present to you via our video equipment, audio equipment,  and our various meters and instruments.  This is what we consider physical evidence that can be analyzed by anyone.  Though a majority of the investigators believe in psychic abilities and phenomena, we feel that such "feelings" cannot be analyzed or examined by our clients or skeptics.  Personal experiences will only be disclosed if an event is witnessed by two or more investigators and/or can be correlated with a piece of equipment.

We are not Scientists, Priests, Kahuna, or Psychics.  We are Paranormal Investigators, normal, everyday people with a passion to pursue answers regarding the Paranormal and to help those in need.

Any pictures of dust, mist, moisture, hairs, camera straps, double or slow exposures will be discredited.  We do not investigate known, graveyards, heiaus, and night marcher trails due to the respect of the deceased.

  Donations Accepted

The Hawaiian Island Paranormal Research Society is a Non-Profit Organization founded to help those in need and are searching for answers regarding paranormal activity and hauntings.  Our services are all free of charge.  If you would like to help, we gladly except donations that will help us help others.  Click on the button below to donate securely through PayPal.  Mahalo.

Ghost Hunting 101 at K.C.C.

Founders Blaise and Preston will be instructing an "Introduction to Paranormal Research and Investigations" course at Kapiolani Community College beginning this 2009 Fall semester.  It will be a "Continuing Education and Training Class" held on Saturday nights from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm beginning September 14th, 2009.  Registration begins in July 2009.  Anyone who is interested can register online by clicking here.  There will be only 15 seats available and they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Course Description

This course is designed to introduce interested individuals to the world of Paranormal Investigations.  Through this course, individuals will learn how to conduct a thorough and credible investigation of claimed haunted locations.  Topics to be covered are Investigator protocols, theories regarding entities and hauntings, how to conduct client interviews, investigation techniques, basic equipment and their uses, and evidence analysis.  An actual investigation of a claimed haunted location will be conducted towards the ending weeks of the course.  This course will not make you a certified Paranormal Investigator.  It is merely a glimpse into what it will take to investigate the Paranormal..

For more information, visit Kapiolani Community College's Continuing Education and Training page by clicking here.

 Author John Kachuba visits Hawaii

Founders Preston and Blaise would like to thank Mr. John Kachuba for giving them the honor of showing him around their home (O'ahu) that they love so much.

Hawaiian Island Ghost Hunters Founders

On May 9, 2009, famed Author John Kachuba flew down to O'ahu to visit a family member.  While on the Island, Mr. Kachuba wanted to visit the most culturally significant sites of the Hawaiian people.  He contacted the Hawaiian Island Paranormal Research Society where Preston and Blaise were more than happy to show him around.  Preston and Blaise decided to take John to Nu'uanu Pali, the Kukaniloko Birthing Stones, and Pu'u O Mahuka Heiau.  At the locations and along the way, Preston and Blaise explained the significance of the sites and shared stories of the Hawaiian people's history, heritage, beliefs, superstitions, myths, and legends.
